All pupils are considered as individual learners at Abbey Meadows and we aim to meet their needs through quality first differentiated teaching in the classroom. Lessons are planned to engage learners and to cater for a variety of learning styles, pupil backgrounds and needs. In the majority of cases this leads to above expected progress for learners.
From time to time it may be necessary to intervene and put extra support in place. This could be necessary to correct misconceptions or to support children with social, emotional, behavioural, language or learning needs. Abbey Meadows has an experienced teaching and support staff with the expertise to assess and respond to the needs of learners quickly and appropriately.
