Ofsted is the Office for Standards in Education, Children’s Services and Skills.  Reporting directly to Parliament they are independent and impartial. Ofsted inspect and regulate services which care for children and young people, and those providing education and skills for learners of all ages.

Our most recent inspection took place in June 2014 and we were rated as a good school. Whilst we were delighted with the inspector’s decision we have plans in place for further improvement as we believe our children should have the opportunity of being part of an outstanding school.

A good school

‘A good school is effective in delivering outcomes that provide well for all its pupils’ needs. Pupils are well prepared for the next stage of their education, training or employment.’

The headteacher has been dynamic and has formed a highly skilled leadership team. Together they have transformed the school from one with serious weaknesses to one with considerable strengths.
