Halloween Disco and Magic Show by Mr Marvel

Thursday 19th October - 6.30 - 8pm

Dear Parents/ Carers
We are very much looking forward to Thursday's Halloween disco!
Please remember that, apart from those with parents who are volunteering, children will be dropped off by their parents at 6.30 and collected at 8pm. All children must be collected - Key Stage 1 from the dinner hall and Key Stage 2 from the junior hall.
Only children who attend Abbey Meadows and have a valid ticket will be admitted. We cannot allow younger siblings who do not attend the school.
Teachers, PTFA members and volunteers will guarantee the safety of your children.
To help us with this can you please
  • write your child's name and class on the back of the ticket - this will help with a smooth pick-up process
  • take your children's coats with you - this will avoid losing/ forgetting jackets and coats at the end of the evening
  • make sure your children know what they are allowed to buy (prices are on the PTFA website)
Happy Halloween,
Claudia Payer

Next PTFA meetings

These are our next meeting dates - all at 7pm in the community wing
28th September

Our new PTFA was formed from our previous fundraising group - Friends Of Abbey Meadows (FOAM) who raised lots of money over the years for...

  • Forest School wet weather equipment for Early Years
  • Library furniture and books
  • Nursery equipment
  • Leavers books for Year 6
  • Sports equipment for lunchtimes

    and many more!

Our new PTFA has 2 objectives - fundraising and parent voice.

If you are a parent, carer or staff member, or have a close connection to the school, you are already a member of the Abbey Meadows Parents, Teachers and Friends Association (PTFA). Committee members get together in the Community Wing to plans ways to promote community spirit and raise funds through a wide range of social events. We also aim to listen to parents and communicate their concerns to the school leadership (as with our recent parent questionnaire). We are always looking for ways to support the school and our children's education, and to make a positive difference to the future of Abbey Meadows. Look out for our suggestion box in the Community Wing, and watch this space for ways to pass on your views.

Please contact us - especially if you can help at the Summer Fayre on the 30th June at this email address...
